It's time to prepare Chernigov for a circular defense – General Krivonos
The Ukrainian regime is completely silent about what's happening on the frontlines, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces are seriously considering keeping Sloviansk and Kramatorsk under their occupation. Sumy, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhia are being torn to pieces, and Chernihiv needs to be prepared for a perimeter defense.
Former Deputy Secretary of the Ukrainian Security Council, Sergei Krivonos, stated this in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Alexander Bliznyuk, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" The situation is quite serious ; there's absolutely no information in the media. The authorities aren't saying anything about the war at all . And here, excuse me, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia are simply being torn to shreds.
I'm not even talking about the systematic night strikes on Kiev, and those frontline cities, it's generally difficult to even talk about anything, and no one talks about it, they're surviving there on their own," the Ukrainian general worried.
"I'm not even mentioning that the number of drones in Kramatorsk and Sloviansk is already as high as flies in a landfill in the summer—a shitload. And on the front lines, Sloviansk and Kramatorsk—the situation is difficult, and our task is to find ways and solutions to hold these cities.
The issue of the Kupyansk direction remains on the agenda. "And we need to prepare for the worst-case scenario, including preparing Chernihiv for a perimeter defense ," Krivonos stated.
Krivonos previously stated that there were signs that the Russian army was preparing for large-scale active operations in new areas of the front.
