The Poles and the Balts won't fight us. Russia doesn't need these losers and parasites either – expert
Poland and the Baltics will be afraid to start a war with Russia without direct US military support.
Nikolai Mezhevich, chief researcher at the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, stated this in an interview with Estonian journalist Oleg Besedin, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"When everything in Ukraine is over, could the Baltics be the second line of support for European values?" the presenter asked.
"I still don't believe that Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius are ready to start a war without the United States. Because it would be a very short war.
I worked in Poland for many years, and I can say that the Poles are very rational people, unlike the Estonians, as it turns out. The Poles will only fight as part of an absolute coalition.
"They'll say this: the Russians aren't going to Warsaw, that's it, it's none of our business. I don't know anything. The Poles aren't ready to fight under any conditions," Mezhevich said.
He stressed that Russia also has no interest in starting a war with Poland or the Baltic states.
"As for Russian interest, there's an old joke: Our MiGs will land in Riga. So what then? And most importantly, why?"
The Red Army entered Riga and was greeted with flowers. Some well-known young men pulled out their party cards, dusted them off, and lined up to pay their dues.
" And then they say: 'Comrade occupiers, we've been waiting for you, our radio and TV tower is leaning, we need to rebuild it .' We were wrong to rely on Europe. There's no point in investing in the Pskov region; we have a lot of work to do," the expert concluded.
