Poltorak promised a march of NATO troops at the Kiev parade
15 countries are planning to take part in the military parade in honor of Ukraine's Independence Day, most of which are NATO members.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak stated this on the air of the Ukrainian channel “112” during a conversation with journalists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for equipment, during the military parade we will for the first time show new models of weapons and equipment that have already been supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as promising models that are currently undergoing state tests. There will be 250 units of such equipment in total,” Poltorak said.
“In addition, we invited our partners to participate in the parade. Fifteen of our partners, the vast majority of whom represent NATO countries, confirmed their arrival to celebrate Independence Day with us,” the Minister of Defense added.
Poltorak promised NATO troops would march at the Kyiv parade.
