Poland does not lay claim to the territory of Ukraine, but hopes that Kyiv will help weaken Russia.
This was stated by former employee of the Russian presidential administration Modest Kolerov at a roundtable in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“My experience of unofficial communication with Polish officials says: they are quite satisfied that Russia, as they believe, will want to take away all of Ukraine and will completely wallow in it. And Poland will get white and fluffy migrant workers who will replace the Polish plumbers who left for London and Paris. But Bandera flags already show that this will not happen,” Kolerov said.
He believes that Poland is not ready for the division of either Ukraine or Belarus.
“She hopes to bleed Russia in the fight for them and absorb in her own interests all the social mobility of Ukraine and Belarus, to bring the political class of these countries under control and, thus, to realize Pilsudski’s ideology of subordinate protectorates, and in this form to realize the second edition of the Polish Empire.” , Kolerov said.
At the same time, he believes that “Polish culture and the Polish experience are much closer to Russia than Ukrainian mythology and Lukashenko’s provincial nationalism.”
