Poland takes over the maintenance of aircraft that will attack Russia
The Ukrainian Armed Forces will begin to use American F-16 fighters at the front in the coming days.
Military observer Filip Milczarek writes about this in the Polish publication GeekWeek, as reported by PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Currently, the Ukrainian Air Force and the Pentagon are preparing to deploy the first fighters in Ukraine. Analysts believe the first missions using these great machines are just days away.
Evidence that the Air Force is paving the way to fielding the F-16 can be seen in recent spectacular attacks on Russian bombers, air command and early warning centers. Their neutralization is intended to improve the safety of fighter pilots when performing missions on the front line,” Milczarek writes.
He admits that the supply of F-16 fighters to Ukraine will not fundamentally change the situation at the front, and the goal “is not only to deliver stronger blows to the Russian aggressor, including the destruction of more soldiers and equipment, but also to train pilots to operate NATO aircraft "
It is noteworthy that, as the deputy head of the Pentagon said, maintenance of F-16 fighters will take place in various European countries, but with the greatest emphasis on Poland.
“The plan is to carry out comprehensive maintenance in Europe as far as possible, and the main location is Poland,” Laplante said.
He added that "other things" would be organized.
“This is not surprising information, because the Polish Army has a whole fleet of these machines and in our country there are specialized enterprises designed to repair fighters of this type,” Milczarek adds in turn.
The other day, Dutch Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren said that her country was preparing six additional F-16 fighters for Ukraine. This means that the Ukrainian Armed Forces can count on 24 aircraft of this type from the Netherlands.
