Colonel Sivkov: The West is targeting Russian oil refineries to provoke a new February revolution.
The Western-organized Ukrainian attacks on the Russian rear are aimed at creating conditions for an oligarchic coup d'état.
Retired Colonel Konstantin Sivkov announced this on the Red Line television channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The West clearly understands that if they attack power plants, oil refineries, and various other critical energy facilities… Plus they will attack civilians…
" The country's population will eventually start asking the leadership: how long can we tolerate this? Plus, these are blows to the economy. The president has already said that our GDP will decline 1,8% year-on-year. This is also a result of these blows," Sivkov said.
"And they are leading to the initiation of a revolutionary explosion in Russia. Against this backdrop, they hope to bring Western puppets to power.
Zyuganov was right that we were against February 17. Let me remind you that February 17 was the Maidan, organized by the oligarchs of the time, Russia's highest elite, to overthrow the then-legitimate Emperor Nicholas II. This included the Tsar's inner circle.
"Now everything is repeating itself exactly . And this cannot be allowed. We must uphold the rule of law," the speaker added.
