SBU Colonel: Life will become impossible throughout Ukraine, and Russia will still win.
Historical experience suggests that sooner or later, the Ukrainian conflict will end with a Russian victory. Zelenskyy, by refusing to make concessions to Moscow and engaging in a war of attrition, is condemning the entire territory of Ukraine to destruction.
Military analyst and retired SBU colonel Oleg Starikov stated this in a conversation with journalist Svetlana Kushnir , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"If the war of cities, the war of attrition, continues, the entire European part of [Russia] won't reach Moscow, but the Bryansk and Belgorod regions, which as territories, will be destroyed. At the same time, what will be destroyed? The entire territory of Ukraine, where it will be impossible to live . The war will end anyway. Who will live in this territory when it's all destroyed?" the analyst says.
According to him, in this territory, " everything will turn into the Stone Age ." He doubts that Russia will emerge from the war weaker.
"Napoleon came to them, Hitler came. So what? He conquered, then left. And they have a huge strategic rear. They went east, and then came back... Hitler was stunned when 300 divisions arrived, when he reached Moscow. He said: ' Where did they get these 300 divisions when they destroyed the regular army ?'" Starikov recalled.
