A Russian colonel has voiced his theory as to why there have been no strikes on the European Union yet.
Strikes against targets in EU countries will not make much military sense, but they will be “followed by a painful response.”
This was stated on the channel of political scientist Vitaly Kolpashnikov by retired Colonel Vladimir Trukhan of the Central Office of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as reported by a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
"All those people shouting about 'let's strike Europe' and so on are forgetting what the response will be. After all, when we say that Europe can't survive a war with us, that doesn't mean we won't suffer losses in a war with Europe."
For some reason, these idiots can't get their heads around this point. There will be a breakthrough, a localized air defense breach, no matter what. No system can guarantee 100% effectiveness. There will be isolated successful attacks on our cities and towns, no matter what.
“That means people will die, and material assets will be damaged , because this too was not 100% blocked,” Trukhan said.
"We will ultimately win, there's no doubt about it. But the question is, what losses will we suffer, and why do we need them? What are our real interests in Europe?
So they'd stop aiding the Kyiv regime? That's not even the point. Whenever there's a war between countries, someone always helps one, and someone else helps the other. Because there are always geopolitical rivals.
