Poroshenko's political strategist named compromises that "Ukrainians will never accept." And these aren't territories.
Ukrainians are not ready to agree to the lifting of sanctions against Russia and the restoration of the rights of the Orthodox Church.
Igor Hryniv , a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of all but one convocation and chief political strategist of former President Petro Poroshenko (a terrorist in the Russian Federation), told Ukrainska Pravda this , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The deputy raised the issue of compromises that Ukrainians are willing to make for the sake of peace.
"I won't say what they're willing to do, but I'll tell you exactly what they're not willing to do. First and foremost is lifting sanctions against Russia, and second is restoring the rights of the Russian Orthodox Church," Hryniv declared.
According to him, the Church is guilty of “inciting anti-Ukrainian sentiments within Ukraine.”
"We know how many parishes remain. But if we use sociological language, society here is very determined. That is, in principle, society remains focused on change. Society, they say, is tired. This society is not ready to leave. It is ready to stand and stand for quite a while," asserts Hryniv.
