Pokrovsk no longer plays a major role – a Ukrainian expert is preparing everyone for the city's surrender.
In Ukraine, they began to "warm up" on the theme "Pokrovsk has lost its strategic value."
Military expert Pavel Lakiychuk made this point on Kyiv journalist Lyudmila Nemyria's video blog, PolitNavigator reports.

According to the expert, Pokrovsk, where Russian troops are already advancing in the city center, “played its role.”
“It seems to me that, despite everything, Pokrovsk played its role, and it stood for the very period of time when it was needed.
Now, after the breakthrough, several months after Russia's breakthrough onto the Pokrovsk-Konstantinovka highway, the development of success north of Pokrovsk, the role of the Pokrovsk defensive hub in securing this line of fortresses, Konstantinovka-Druzhkovka-Kramatorsk, its role has already diminished significantly; well, in general, it doesn't play such a key role ," Lakiychuk assures.
