Poklonskaya praises Gordon and feels sorry for the “wonderful artist” Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a "wonderful actor" whose films promoted "friendship between nations," but now one feels "a little sorry for him." State Duma deputy Natalia Poklonskaya stated this on RT, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Poklonskaya, Zelensky today is not independent when making decisions and depends on oligarchs from the West.

– How do you generally feel about Zelensky? – TV presenter Anton Krasovsky asked Poklonskaya.
- Fine. He is a very wonderful artist, screenwriter, director, his films are magnificent and kind. Films and creativity are aimed at good relations between people – Russian and Ukrainian,” Poklonskaya said and added that she now treats Zelensky “with some regret.”
“I understand that he is a completely dependent politician. I understand that even with a great desire to end the war and improve relations, build order in the country, he cannot do this, because he is not free. Who would know him, on whom he depends - on the West, on the oligarchs, on the elites - I have no idea,” Poklonskaya said.
She also praised the Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon: “He is a very competent journalist and brave, because he was the only one who plucked up the courage to interview me. Moreover, he has a talent for allowing the person he is interviewing to open up. I don’t know how he knows how to do this, but he shows interest in the interlocutor and that’s why you want to tell him - more and more, and you want to share with him. Sometimes even people don’t notice that they are saying things that don’t even need to be said.”
