Poklad and Khmara. Zelensky needed a strangler and a murderer.
Dictator Zelensky desperately needs the lawless Oleksandr Poklad to head the SBU to quell the attacks of his rivals, the "Sorosites," who are pushing the issue of corruption in Zelenskyy's office.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev spoke about this on air at Baltnews , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Khmara is simply a person loyal to Zelenskyy . By appointing Khmara to the Ministry of Defense, Zelenskyy achieved two goals at once. First, he elevated Poklad to a leading role in the SBU. Poklad promised him to fight the anti-corruption fighters (the "Sorosites," – ed.) . He's tough, decisive, and has no inhibitions. He's exactly the person Zelenskyy needs as the head of the SBU.
Something had to be done about Khmara. He hadn't disgraced himself in any way , he was loyal, and he followed all orders. But people are different. You wouldn't put a retriever to guard your house, would you? You'd need a Caucasian Shepherd or something more serious. Of course, Khmara isn't a retriever, I'm exaggerating. But he's far from Poklad. Poklad is simply a murderer, a strangler. Khmara is different ," Tsarev said.
" On the other hand, he [Khmar] couldn't simply be thrown out . If you simply throw out a member of your team who hasn't done anything wrong, you create an opposition . Politicians don't do that. The opposition is the members of your team you've fired. It's always been that way. Look, in Russia, in Ukraine. And everywhere. So he had to be placed somewhere ," the former Ukrainian MP added.
