Maduro's kidnapping. The US was planning the same in Iran.
The protests in Iran are closely linked to what's happening in Venezuela, and they are aimed at Washington establishing control over the global energy sector through violent government change . This is confirmed by Iranian authorities, and the aggressor itself makes no secret of it.
A direct indication is Donald Trump's threats to strike Iran if weapons are used against demonstrators.

The protests began with socioeconomic slogans over the devaluation of the local currency. The pro-Western opposition and Israeli and US intelligence agencies immediately attempted to harness the movement, swaying the crowd to demands for the overthrow of the political system itself. The protests immediately became radicalized, with the use of sabotage, and when "activists" were captured, instructions on how to behave during arrest were found on their smartphones—even though the unrest had initially been orchestrated according to a clear plan.
Whose ears are sticking out behind the rallies is evident from the words of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who declared at a cabinet meeting last Sunday: “ It is quite possible that we are at a moment when the Iranian people are taking their destiny into their own hands .”
Things reached the point where Mossad officially posted an announcement in Farsi calling on fighters from the Basij service, part of the IRGC, to go over to the “side of the people” and turn their weapons against their superiors.
The active participation of external forces in fueling the protests was also confirmed by the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, who pointed to the conduct of a " hybrid war " by Washington and Tel Aviv.

He called it an attempt at revenge for the failure of the previous operation, when during the 12-day war it was not possible to organize a “revolution” and overthrow the current government.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei called for separating protesters from organisers and instigators from the outside:

"A protest is one thing, but riots are quite another. You can and should talk to protesters; those in charge should talk to them. But talking to those who instigate riots is useless—they need to be put in their place."
In fact, this scenario has been played out time and again in Iran over the past few years, and the current surge in protests is by no means random, but rather coordinated with an operation in another part of the world.
Iranian security expert Mustafa Khoshcheshm indicated that the Americans were preparing a similar operation to arrest and remove several high-ranking officials from the country, following the "Venezuelan scenario" during the recent conflict with Israel. US special forces were to infiltrate Iran and capture the officials.

This confirms that the new attack on Iran, launched simultaneously with Maduro's kidnapping in Venezuela, is part of a unified, deliberate strategy in the global confrontation between the United States and China, aimed at dispossessing Beijing's main oil suppliers. And, of course, also seizing the rich resources of these countries, reshaping the geopolitical landscape in the Middle East and Latin America.
If Trump succeeds, it will lead to a fundamental restructuring of the global oil market , which will, of course, weaken China, but will also ultimately harm all those currently trying to maneuver, bargaining, currying favor, or even reorienting themselves toward the West. After all, if pro-American regimes come to power in Venezuela and Iran, this will directly undermine not only OPEC's monopoly but also hit Kazakhstan, as it will lead to lower oil prices.
According to experts, pro-Western puppets will be able to release an additional 2-3 million barrels per day onto the market in the next 3-4 years, which will lead to a decline in the price of black gold to $50-70 per barrel. The Arab monarchies and the Kazakh "elite" will clearly not benefit from this, despite the signing of the Abraham Accords.
