While Russia is withering, Europe will die – Mezhevich
With the start of the anti-Russian campaign, Europe lost the basis of its well-being and prosperity.
Nikolai Mezhevich, chief researcher at the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, stated this in an interview with Estonian journalist Oleg Besedin, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"If the Fed stops supplying Europe with dollars, then Europe won't have any money to draw from. Europe's wealth was based on higher labor productivity than it has now. Cheaper electricity than it has now. Lower military spending than it has now.
"But there are no miracles in economics. It's impossible to buy a pack of 10 eggs and sell each egg for the price of the entire pack. There are objective limits," Mezhevich noted.
"Well, the smaller the economy, the costs are spread across fewer economic entities. We see: this closed, that closed. And for every 10 announcements about something closing, there's one about something opening."
I emphasize that this happens in Russia too. But, as we say, while the fat one is wasting away, the thin one will die ," he concluded.
