“Until Putin gets tired?” – in Kyiv they are not confident in the firm position of the West
The United States will continue to arm Ukraine so that Russia does not get out of this conflict for as long as possible, preferably for decades.
Former Minister of Social Policy Andrei Reva stated this on the Politeka channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The USA arms us, they help us. They are doing everything to ensure that Ukraine survives. That is, relatively speaking, they give Putin the opportunity to try to tear us apart, but he fails. And they assume that sooner or later he will get tired.
It is clear that, given his resources, this will not be today or tomorrow. Therefore, I do not understand these conversations that we are at a turning point. This is wrong.
The war will last a long time. If nothing changes regarding the position on aid to Ukraine, and if events continue as they are now, this war will last for years, if not decades ," the former minister emphasized.
“But if, say, some changes occur in the US position, they stop helping us, then the war will end, you know, very quickly. By the way, this is also China’s peace plan,” Reva added.
