A Ukrainian saboteur caught in Crimea wrote a letter from prison, apologizing for the Russian language.
The so-called "ATO volunteer" Yevgeny Panov, detained in the summer of 2016 in Armyansk after a Ukrainian sabotage group breached the Crimean border , wrote an open letter from a Russian prison.

Panov thanks everyone from whom he received letters while behind bars for their support.
“I don’t know when all this will end, but if you don’t believe, then there’s no point in living,” the saboteur writes.
At the very end of the letter, Panov apologizes for writing in Russian, because, allegedly, he was afraid to make mistakes in Ukrainian, since, they say, he had not heard the language for a year in prison.
Panov’s letter ends with a greeting from Ukrainian fascists: “Glory to Ukraine!”
