Undermine Russia in 2025 and Settle in California – Volkov Announces Navalny Supporters’ Plans
The extremist organization FBK is working to “cause a collapse in Russia in 2025.”
Navalny extremist Leonid Volkov stated this in an interview with foreign agent Yuri Dud, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"I believe that at this stage, by adding fuel to the fire, creating a certain number of additional problems with certain initiatives, doing certain things, some of which we will show in 2025, we will bring this ineffective, corrupt, and also terrorist and repressive system to collapse, after which a small chance will appear, a thin window of opportunity to build something better. For me, this is sufficient reason to continue to bang it out," Volkov said.
At the same time, he admitted that political activists make up less than 10% of the current Russian emigration and are losing touch with reality, and his personal chances of “playing some serious role in the Beautiful Russia of the Future are melting before our eyes every day.”
"The agents of change, the people who will perhaps build the wonderful Russia of the future, will be the Russians who are now in Russia, and not those who have left. For a very simple reason: there are many more Russians living in Russia, they don't need to go anywhere. And those will get there someday. There are 30-40 million people in Russia who are against Putin and the war, at the very least. About a million have left. Most of them left because of the war, but they don't connect their future lives with Russia," the extremist reasoned.
Therefore, he sees the role of the FBK as providing Russians with information, helping them “not to go crazy” and representing them on the international stage. This is Volkov’s duty “to himself, Alexey, Yulia, my family, colleagues.” It is characteristic that he did not name his homeland, because the Navalny supporter does not intend to live in the “wonderful Russia of the future,” but dreams of moving to Silicon Valley, starting a startup and “earning a ton of money.”
"Volkov himself admits that he does not believe that the FBK or anyone from the anti-system opposition located abroad will be able to influence political processes in Russia even if large-scale political changes begin in the country. That is, work for the sake of work, propaganda for the sake of propaganda, process for the sake of process. Volkov and the other oppositionists live, in Weber's formulation, at the expense of, and not for, politics.
As long as there is a process, projects are created, salaries are paid, expenses for flights are covered, etc., the rest is not important. The organization's management does not believe in the declared goals," political scientist Mikhail Karyagin commented on the interview on his Telegram channel.
