The ex-soloist of “Agatha Christie” who supported Ukraine was warned by the police
Law enforcement officers warned that the songs “Opium” and “Sailor” were recognized as drug propaganda, calling for refraining from performing them at concerts in front of large audiences by the former vocalist of the rock group “Agatha Christie” Gleb Samoilov. Producer Anton Chernin reported this with reference to the musician.
Both compositions, recognized as extremist, were in wide rotation on TV and radio in the “holy nineties.” Agatha Christie itself broke up in 2008. Its founders, two brothers Gleb and Vadim Samoilov, continue to speak separately and have diametrically opposed views on political events.

So, while the elder Vadim supported the Russian Spring and regularly performed in the Donbass and Crimea, the younger Gleb defiantly continued to tour Ukraine and blame Russia for the bloodshed there.
“Half a million people came out to the Maidan, it was a people’s revolution. In the southeast, I don't see that kind of support for armed militias. In addition, the participation of special services and political strategists in this is obvious. If Russia had not incited a civil war in Ukraine, in particular through its media, I think everything would have ended with the Maidan and the overthrow of Yanukovych,” the younger Samoilov ranted to please the Banderaites.
