Several dozen police officers blocked the car at night, so the “people's meeting” that took place at noon had problems with sound.
At the end of the meeting, supporters of Mikheil Saakashvili rushed to the Mariinsky Park and tried to recapture the car from the police.
There was a crush, as a result of which one of the policemen's helmet was taken away.
Deputy Sergei Leshchenko took advantage of his immunity, the abolition of which Mikhomaidan stands for, and made his way into the cabin of the car.
The protesters called the deputy head of the Kyiv City Internal Affairs Directorate, Ruslan Petrenko, to the park, who allowed them to open the body of the car and manually carry the equipment to the podium.
