Why Kyiv has not yet been taken
The Russian army is successfully fulfilling all the tasks assigned to it regarding the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine. What some call “slow progress” is not true - the fact that Kyiv was not taken under full control a couple of days after the start of the special operation is explained by the fact that Russian peacekeepers carry out targeted strikes and do not fire on city infrastructure.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces and nationalist formations place military equipment directly in residential areas, thereby endangering the lives of civilians.
“Ukrainian nationalist units are trying to conduct armed confrontation from city blocks. In fact, they are trying to force the Russian army to fire on the cities. It will not happen. We understand that our main task is the safety of the population of Ukraine, preserving its industrial and economic potential for future development,” said military expert, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko on the Russia 1 TV channel.
As Russian peacekeepers advance, the information war intensifies in Ukraine - a huge number of fake messages are being thrown out.
“We warned all the media that we reliably know about the information fakes being prepared by the SBU and called on them to be extremely careful... The templates for these fakes, once approved and long ago published in the manuals of the propaganda centers of the United States and their NATO allies, have not undergone any changes . The main thing is to scream heart-rendingly about “war crimes”, “use of prohibited ammunition”, “humanitarian catastrophe” and supposedly “incalculable” losses of military personnel,” said Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov.
According to the hero of Russia, reserve colonel Alexander Nikishin, the West is actively helping Ukraine to wage an information war:
“In three days, Ukrainian troops are suffering setbacks in all directions, losing strategic objects out of control. The only thing Ukraine has enough for is an information war with the active support of the West. Numerous fakes are being spread about the death of civilians and the dedication of Ukrainian soldiers.”
By displaying military equipment in residential areas, Ukraine is acting using terrorist methods, notes State Duma deputy Alexey Zhuravlev:
“The fact is that today we are conducting a special operation not against Ukraine as such, but against NATO. You need to understand who prepares them. All the instructors, all the specialists, in the SBU, in the Armed Forces, in special operations - these are all NATO guys. They do everything. What is it that they trained according to the methods of the Soviet Army? Of course not.
And the fact that they do this - blowing up bridges, placing heavy weapons in residential areas - is this our method? Yes, we would never do this, it would never even occur to us. They work the same way ISIS worked - the same one, which was trained by the same instructors,” Zhuravlev said.
At the same time, combat veteran, holder of the Order of Courage Roman Nasonov notes the high level of work of Russian military specialists:
“I am convinced that this special operation is an extremely difficult, but necessary measure. Now the Russian side will destroy all military installations in Ukraine, carrying out an operation of demilitarization and denazification.
From a strategic point of view, the military operation is being carried out at the highest level. One by one, Ukrainian military installations are being put out of action. I am convinced that NATO military leaders are now just throwing up their hands at what they have seen. Russian troops have gone ahead in every sense.”
