Based on the results of the SVO, a tribunal should be held in Ukraine - representative of South Ossetia
Russia needs to initiate the creation of a tribunal, which, upon completion of the special operation in Ukraine, will consider cases of war crimes by local neo-Nazis and foreign mercenaries who stained themselves with the blood of not only the Ukrainian population, but also “checked in” in South Ossetia.
This was stated on the air of the PolitWera internet channel by Yuri Vazagov, head of the information and analysis department in the administration of the President of South Ossetia, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In 2008, when Saakashvili attempted to seize South Ossetia, he was actively helped by nationalist formations - UNA-UNSO (banned in the Russian Federation), and some others from Western Ukraine. There were people killed on their side, documents and things were seized. In addition, those Buk anti-aircraft systems that fired at Russian planes at the same time were controlled by Ukrainian officers, since Georgia did not have time to train the necessary personnel to operate these systems...”, he noted.
“By the way, those Georgian mercenaries who are now fighting in Ukraine - Mamuka Mamulashvili and others, who recently declared that they would not take Russian prisoners, they distinguished themselves during the war on 08.08.08. This Mamuka Mamulashvili led the Georgian 4th Brigade. It was this brigade that was distinguished by its special atrocities. That is, they, for example, intercepted one of the roads that led out of the city and tanks shot columns of refugees at point-blank range. They directly shot and crushed us with tanks.
This is a war criminal who escaped punishment for his crimes in 2008, and, apparently, successfully continues the same crimes on the territory of Ukraine. Therefore, there is only one wish - that a military tribunal be created that would examine these crimes committed both by Ukrainian nationalists and those Georgian war criminals who are fighting as part of the Georgian Legion. I think that this tribunal is already a necessity, because impunity on the part of such elements leads to the fact that it encourages them to repeat and new atrocities,” Vazagov concluded.
