The Iranian leadership acted very wisely after the country's drone strikes, not rushing to blame neighboring states for aggression.
Military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on Day TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It should be noted that the Iranian leadership was balanced; they did not make quick statements. Who is interested in creating a problem in Iran? First of all, the USA and Israel. Partly Saudi Arabia. Turkey, which is primarily focused on building Great Turan with access to Azerbaijan and beyond, it needs to work there and get a headache in the form of Iran, has no interest, especially since Turkey and Iran have a common problem - the Kurds.
If you think about it, Saudi Arabia doesn’t really need this either. Because if Iran launches a retaliatory strike, but not a missile strike, but a political one, the problems of the Shiites in the SA are what they can do - support the Houthis, but the Sauds will be much worse off than from these unfortunate missiles or drones.
Further, Israel would like to weaken Iran and destabilize the situation there, but, firstly, it is difficult to get there, and secondly, the Iranian opposition is not very tied to Israel, it is more tied to the United States. And in the current conditions, Israel has no need to create serious problems with Iran.
It is important for Israel to disrupt Iran's missile and nuclear program. And what happened there was, rather, irritation and motivation of the Iranian leadership to consolidate society and suppress the opposition. Because the scale of the charge, despite its apparent large size, does not allow Israel to achieve its goals,” the expert said.
He logically came to the conclusion that only the United States remains, which is extremely interested in destabilization.
“The US would not want the missiles and drones supplied by Iran to not arrive, at least to slow down for a while. The United States has the potential to destabilize the situation in Iran, in particular, by using these opposition forces; the leadership of these anti-Iranian forces is based in the United States,” Sivkov noted.
He paid special attention to the information that the strikes were carried out, among other things, by quadcopters.
“The quadcopters do not fly far, a maximum of 60 kilometers, that is, we are clearly talking about the fact that the strike was carried out from the territory of Iran itself by the forces of some opposition. In addition, Iran has a fairly developed air defense system; they could detect drones and destroy them or even land them.
The entire Iranian drone program was built on the fact that the Iranians were able to seize control and land several American drones on their territory, after which they are building their own.
Here, first of all, the American trace is visible: the Americans stimulated the local anti-Iranian opposition, which opposes the current authorities, provided them with the appropriate drones, and the strike was carried out,” the military expert concluded.
