Transnistria will become a second Russian enclave in Europe, similar to the Kaliningrad region, after Moldova and Ukraine join the EU.
Kyiv anti-Russian gay propagandist Vitaly Portnikov stated this to the Moldovan television channel TV8, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"If both Ukraine and Moldova are admitted to the EU at the same time, Transnistria will become an unrecognized enclave within the EU... Just like the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation.
But unlike the Kaliningrad region, Transnistria lives by Moldova's economic laws. This means it will live by European economic laws.
In this case, the issue of reintegration will accelerate, because the enclave, forced to accept the economic rules of the game, will sooner or later disappear politically,” Portnikov declared.
He also predicts the demographic destruction of Transnistria.
"The population that remains there when Ukraine and Moldova integrate into the EU will simply disappear. Young people will receive Moldovan and Ukrainian passports and leave for Europe.
The population that has Russian passports will sooner or later leave for Russia, because it is comfortable to live there with these passports.
Therefore, even if there is no political solution to the Transnistria problem, it will resolve itself within Europe,” the Ukrainian gay reasoned.
As for the limited group of Russian troops in the PMR, the Kiev propagandist proposes to “marginalize” it.
