Bad news for Poroshenko: Saakashist Maidan will drag on for at least six months

The head of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation, Kost Bondarenko, stated this in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.

“Of course, you can hold protests under the walls of the Verkhovna Rada ad infinitum. Even if on October 19 deputies vote for an anti-corruption court, the abolition of immunity, and so on, the opposition will still find a reason not to disperse. For example, according to the courts, one law is not enough; changes need to be made to about 50 more documents, and it is impossible to vote for this right away. You also need to vote for immunity twice in two different sessions, that is, the process in any case will last at least six months,” the political scientist noted.
