Former Ukrainian President Leonid Kravchuk stated this at the IV Baltic-Black Sea Forum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I was born in Poland, or rather in Ukraine, but then the territory was Polish. Sorry, they didn’t call my father and my mother anything other than boors and rednecks. They are accustomed, I will speak frankly, to the fact that they have always been teachers. And today we were glad that Poland was leading us somewhere, it was good, we considered Poland our guide. If we consider other countries to be our guides, then it is better to remain silent. If you want us to have a good relationship, I really want this, we must be equal. And not to determine our domestic and foreign policy,” he said.
