The first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, former Russian Ambassador to China Andrei Denisov, made this statement at a roundtable in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" The more economic interest becomes apparent, the less Europeans talk about human rights . The Americans have stopped altogether, although that's where they used to start and end. But the Europeans, who pose as zealots, and China, have also stopped lecturing them. Partly out of respect, because China has made it clear it's no longer going to listen to this nonsense —'Hong Kong, labor camps, women's rights, dissidents.' Where is all this? Nowhere, it's gone," the diplomat noted.
