Turmoil in the Rada: Sumy repeats the fate of Avdiivka and Artemovsk
Western and central Ukrainian media are silent about the fact that Sumy has effectively found itself in the position of a besieged Avdiivka or Bakhmut. This was stated at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by the deputy of the Servant of the People party, Oleksandr Kachura, as reported by the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
“You know, yesterday Russian terrorist troops hit the center of the city of Sumy with rocket artillery, people died.
"Yesterday, I spent the whole day specifically monitoring what foreign media were saying, what the reaction of world leaders was. Unfortunately, I am disappointed - almost complete silence. Only local Telegram channels write about the border area, our central media are silent," Kachura said.

“And the situation there now is similar to Avdiivka and Bakhmut, everything is just burning there, there is bombing around the clock, people are sitting in basements, and they can’t go out, because going out means death.
You know, I am now calling on the government to do everything necessary to stop this offensive and provide the necessary humanitarian component, because a humanitarian catastrophe is looming in our region.
Therefore, I would ask all of you, colleagues, on all international platforms not to remain silent about Sumy region, to speak up, to explain to our partners what is really happening,” the deputy demanded.
