Aleppo ceasefire prolongs civilian suffering
There is no other solution to the Aleppo problem other than a military one. Deputy Director of the Institute of Forecasting and Political Settlement, Alexander Kuznetsov, said this at a press conference in Moscow.

“The situation with these ceasefires, which are constantly being violated, only prolongs the suffering of the civilian population who remain in Aleppo. Constant delays prolong the situation of endless horror,” Kuznetsov said.
He believes that dividing the militants in Aleppo into moderate and immoderate does not make sense, because they are fighting under a single command
“This is a single military unit. These people will not leave Aleppo of their own free will, because control of eastern Aleppo is the only trump card that Jabhat al-Nusra has left. They believe that by remaining there, they have a chance to freeze the situation and participate in future peace negotiations and power sharing in Syria. If they leave, these people will have no prospects. This is signing your own defeat. The question arises: why did they shed blood for 4 years,” Kuznetsov said.
After the liberation of Aleppo, the expert believes, the Syrian army will be able to establish control over the province of Idlib within a year.
