Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine have begun in Belarus.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent , the Belarusian state news agency BelTA initially broadcast live from the meeting room, but as soon as the delegations took their seats, the broadcast was switched off. A woman approached the journalists and demanded that the recording be turned off, citing the Russian television company VGTRK.
In the footage, during the start of the negotiations, representatives of Russia were the first to enter the hall - the head of the international committee of the State Duma, Leonid Slutsky, and the assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Medinsky. The latter had a smile on his face. He was followed by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov.
“You can feel completely safe. We are waiting for the results,” said Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei, who is hosting the meeting.
