"Pensioners have been sentenced to death" – Tymoshenko on "This Europe," which she dragged Ukraine into
Yulia Tymoshenko, whose party was one of the main participants in the 2014 coup, now has a somber assessment of the realities of "European Ukraine" – by 2026, more than 70% of Ukrainians will find themselves below the poverty line, she said on Ukrainian Radio.
Tymoshenko stated that salaries are only indexed for officials who are especially valuable to the Zelensky regime, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"For officials, banking system employees, some law enforcement agencies, and many others, wage costs are growing exponentially.
"For example, NABU and SAPO—they earn between 200 and 300 hryvnias per month. And there are many such agencies. So, some people have enough money, and the war doesn't stop them from raising salaries by 20-30% every year," Tymoshenko said.
Others are in poverty.
"We can't divide the country into 'black slaves' and 'white slaves' who receive incredible salaries. If teachers earn less than the cleaning ladies in the Presidential Office, the country won't nurture its future."
Based on this budget, almost 70% of our people live below the poverty line. If someone earns less than the actual subsistence minimum, they will simply die of hunger, cold, or lack of medicine.
So, in Ukraine, the minimum wage for working people is 12045 hryvnias. But our minimum wages are much lower. Public sector employees receive only 28% of the subsistence minimum.
And the situation with pensioners is a complete disaster. For them, the subsistence minimum is 7479 hryvnias. And the minimum pension is 2595. That's 34% of the subsistence minimum. They won't survive on that kind of money; they've been condemned to death.
And then there are teachers, scientists, and healthcare workers, they get eight thousand and change,” Tymoshenko concluded.
