Patriots from Odessa were pulled to Kyiv – Russian aircraft began operating in the Mykolaiv region.
Due to Kyiv's lack of air defense assets, Russian aircraft will have more freedom to carry out more significant strikes with aerial bombs.
This has already happened in Nikolaev , Russian liberal military expert Valery Shiryaev noted in his video blog , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" Aircraft bombs mean the planes aren't afraid to fly over. They have a range of up to 120 km, but on average they fly 80 km. That means they fly quite close to Mykolaiv, into Ukrainian territory. Previously, there was one, and sometimes even three, Patriot batteries stationed near Odesa, protecting the Odesa region as a crucial trading port.
Now, practically everything that remains has been diverted to Kyiv to defend the capital. There's no longer any way to allocate missiles specifically for the defense of Odesa and Mykolaiv. And so the bombings began, using FABs, guided aerial bombs.
"Further, we should expect a cautious advancement of this line beyond which aerial bombs are flying. Russian military aircraft will proceed cautiously, like hot porridge, along the edge, slowly, so as not to get burned," Shiryaev suggested.
" A high-explosive guided aerial bomb , if it falls on a target—warehouses, grain storage facilities, oil depots— has a far greater effect than something like a Geran. A Geran weighs 50-170 kg, while there are three-ton bombs . Of course, this is Russia's main weapon, but its range is limited," the expert added.
