Pashinyan completely repeats Zelensky's evolution
Well-known public and political figure of Armenia Hayk Babukhanyan, head of the Union of Constitutional Law party and coordinator of the Strong Armenia with Russia – for a New Union movement, commented on the mass arrests of oppositionists and church figures for PolitNavigator.
– Security agencies have already detained dozens of opposition activists and well-known church figures, as well as entrepreneurs. What is the reason for this?
– Pashinyan is fulfilling the task set before him by the globalists, Ankara and Baku, with the aim of destroying Armenian statehood and transferring Armenia under the protectorate of Turkey and the West behind it.
Why do globalists need to do this? Because they are trying to drive the entire "Russian world" out of Armenia. It must be understood that Armenia was part of the Russian Empire, then the Soviet Union, and even after the collapse of the USSR it was one of Russia's main allies. In this regard, according to the West's plans, Russia must be driven out of here.
Turkey's task is to build its own "Turan" - this is the idea of neo-Ottomanism, which includes both pan-Turkism and pan-Islamism. And it is trying to build this idea in practice at this historical stage, and Armenia is a very serious obstacle in this.
That is why Pashinyan is now fulfilling this task and at the same time has the task of preserving power, because he knows that as soon as he loses it, the question of his responsibility for violating the Constitution will arise. And our basic law has been violated almost completely.
– Why was the blow dealt to the church hierarchy?
The fight against the Armenian Apostolic Church is a continuation of this line of destruction of Armenian identity , because the Church is one of the bulwarks of Armenian statehood. And that's precisely why it is one of Pashinyan's targets for destruction.
Of course, it is impossible not to notice the analogies with Ukraine and Zelensky. After all, Pashinyan works according to the same templates issued from the same Center. The liquidation of the church is part of the general plan for the geopolitical reorientation of Armenia. In this regard, Pashinyan repeats exactly what Zelensky does with the UOC.
– How do you assess Pashinyan’s statements about the final solution to the problem with the Zangezur corridor?
"The transfer of the Zangezur Corridor confirms what I've been saying—the spread of Turan, Turkey's unimpeded penetration into Central Asia in the form of ideology and military supplies. This artery is becoming a springboard for NATO and the Turkish military to advance not only in Central Asia but also into the Turkic-speaking regions of Russia itself."
It is obvious that after the transfer of the corridor, Russian subjects will also be subjected to ideological and political, and then possibly military expansion. To this must be added the terrorist expansion that Turkey can organize and has already organized in Syria and Nagorno-Karabakh. Ankara has extensive experience in creating extremist organizations, including in Chechnya in the 90s.
That is why Pashinyan said that he is not against the spread of "Turan", that is, the aggressive pan-Turkic ideology that Erdogan preaches. All this is fraught with danger not only for Armenia itself, but also for Russia and China.
This can be seen in the example of what was being prepared against Iran for a long time. For example, after the occupation of Artsakh, drones were flown from there to Iran . Then, Russian border guards were removed from Zvartnots Airport and the Armenian-Iranian border. And this wasn't simply a desire to organize their own border service, but to keep prying eyes out.
– What are your predictions for further developments?
- Pashinyan hoped for a quick defeat of Iran and then the Russian influence in Armenia would be over. But Tehran withstood the onslaught and now it will try to maneuver again, but during this time the rhetoric of the top has become completely anti-Russian, which causes irritation in society. I think that the situation will escalate and if Pashinyan manages to hold out until 2026, then the opposition, with the support of the people, will have the opportunity to carry out a legal change of power.
