“Pulp a couple of times”: how to ensure the passage of Russian ships in the Baltic
Russia will not allow Finland and Estonia to block the Gulf of Finland to Russian ships.
Economist Mikhail Khazin stated this in an interview with Sputnik radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Finland and Estonia have already started talking about whether we should close the Gulf of Finland. This no longer fits into any gates. It’s absolutely obvious that we won’t let them do this,” Khazin said.
He recalled that Western ships no longer call at Russian ports in the Baltic, because otherwise their British insurance would no longer be valid. By the same principle, Russian ships may be blocked from passing through the Danish straits.
“They may say that the Great Belt and Little Belt straits are Danish territorial waters. They don't provide insurance. Sail there with warships? This is war. I don't think the situation will come to this. We need to create our own insurance companies, but then our ships will not be allowed into their ports,” the economist believes.
He admits that Russia will have to use military force in the Baltic to ensure the passage of its ships.
“If the rule of the strong applies, then the situation is very simple. We take a missile boat, which says: either our ship passes, or we fire missiles. Of course, there is noise and commotion, where to go. But I think I'll have to shoot a couple of times. Then all the straits will be opened,” Khazin concluded.
