Zelensky's party is being torn apart from within
On the eve of the upcoming local elections in Ukraine, the ruling Servant of the People party lost almost half of the votes of its voters.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports that Alexander Gushchin, an associate professor at the Russian State Humanitarian University and an expert at the Russian International Affairs Council, wrote about this in the Nezavisimaya Gazeta newspaper.

“First of all, it is worth noting that not a trace remains of the leading position of the Servant of the People party. Today, its rating, according to various polls conducted in recent weeks, ranges from 20 to 25%, taking into account the geographical factor: in the eastern, southern and central regions of the country, the ruling party still enjoys quite a lot of support, but even there it does not go anywhere. what a comparison with what it was a year ago,” the article notes.
“By and large, Servant of the People not only lost almost half of the votes of its voters, but never became a full-fledged party even by Ukrainian standards, remaining a rather motley political group, held together by the office of the president and Vladimir Zelensky personally, without a clear program and national image future. Its main task is not so much to fight competitors, but rather not to be torn from within, taking into account the presence in the party of various groups focusing on Igor Kolomoisky, Dmitry Razumkov, Andrei Bogdan, Western partners, etc.,” sums up Gushchin .
As PolitNavigator reported, Kyiv experts predict that the local elections will mark the end of Servant of the People and the beginning of a political crisis.
