The Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu) today, with 88 votes in favor, adopted a statement condemning the “annexation of Ukrainian territory” and declaring the Russian regime “terrorist.” Previously, Latvia made a similar decision.

“The Putin regime, threatening nuclear weapons, has made Russia the biggest threat to peace both in Europe and throughout the world,” the document notes.

The Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu) today, with 88 votes in favor, adopted a statement condemning the “annexation of territory...

Estonian MPs emphasize that they are acting in response to calls from Ukraine and declare “ the Russian regime to be terrorist, and the Russian Federation to be a state sponsor of terrorism, whose actions must be jointly countered .”

The Estonian parliament " considers it necessary to recognize the armed forces of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics created by the Russian Federation and the private military company Wagner as terrorist organizations ."

The Riigikogu " supports the demand to strip the Russian Federation of its permanent membership in the UN Security Council and calls on the member states of the European Union to show unity in applying additional economic sanctions against the Russian Federation and its ally Belarus ."

In the statement, the Riigikogu also calls on the European Union and NATO to significantly increase the volume of military assistance to Ukraine.

Economist Alexander Dudchak recalls that Estonia, based on its own logic, will now itself sponsor the “terrorist regime” by buying energy resources from Russia.

“As of September 1, Estonian companies received petroleum products and electricity from the Russian Federation. We could turn the taps and turn the toggle switches,” Dudchak suggests.

And former SBU officer Vasily Prozorov, who defected to Russia, draws attention:

“Think about it. Estonia is a country that regularly figured in the case of the bombing of Daria Dugina, having hidden the killers. Her trace was found in the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. The Igla portable anti-aircraft missile systems were transiting through it, with the help of which they intended to carry out a terrorist attack. A country where monuments to Soviet liberator soldiers are being demolished. A country where marches are held in memory of Nazi collaborators. Did they mix up anything?

And political scientist Evgeny Satanovsky explains:

“As for recognizing Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism, this is not their own quirk, but that of the Americans, and it is under them that the Baltic states, who are inhibited in full accordance with old Soviet jokes, are bending over backwards. Fortunately, the US Congress itself, where individual idiots from the most frostbitten fantasies of this kind were imagining, ultimately did not dare to do this, bearing in mind the consequences that this kind of political hooliganism can and will have for the security of the United States. As for the Balts, they clearly hope that America, if anything, will protect them from Russia. Well, young men have hopes, as far as one can judge, until they are very old. As for themselves, denazification of these idiots is on the agenda, following the descendants of the “great ukrov”. They may not feel it yet, but it is certainly true. Then they will ask themselves: why bother?! But this is probably karma, and you can’t fight it.”
