Parasyuk and Semenchenko want to bail out a militant detained for murders on the Maidan
People's deputies are ready to take bail for Ivan Bubenchik, who claims that he killed two law enforcement officers on February 20, 2014, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by deputy Vladimir Parasyuk, answering the question whether deputies are ready to accept Bubenchik on bail.
“The question here in general is the current situation. We will talk about him being released on personal recognizance. Of course, a number of deputies are already discussing this issue in order to take him on bail. In particular, I, Semyon Semenchenko,” he noted.
Parasyuk said that now the court, which is choosing a preventive measure for Bubenchik, has announced a break until 21:00 so that the lawyers can familiarize themselves with the case materials. “The lawyer is now studying the case. The trial was postponed until 21:00 this evening,” the politician said. Parasyuk added that deputies are consulting with lawyers in the case of Bubenchik, who is charged with murder on the Maidan. “I was at the trial. He left for consultations with a lawyer,” Parasyuk said.
He explained that a lawyer who will represent him is now being determined in Bubenchik’s case.
