Ukrainian philosopher Andrei Baumeister stated this on air during a video blog broadcast by journalist Alexander Shelest, who is recognized as a foreign agent in Russia , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" We're creating a pantheon of losers and failures . Because, if you ask, how many people followed Konovalets ? And how many people were attracted to him as a leader?
And we see that it didn't. After the failures in Ukraine, it was a small group of people, very poor financially and ideologically, and from it emerged another group of people.
And, for example, other leaders in this territory were supported by millions. Rightly or wrongly, but they were supported by millions of Ukrainians.
“And it turns out that a man who was supported by several hundred or thousands has now been buried in the pantheon, while people who were supported by millions are being cursed,” Baumeister said.
"They are all declared 'not ours.' That is, those who, in life or after their death, achieved some kind of world-class status have no place in the pantheon . Because our national myth is not world-class.
"It's a mold created by narrow-minded, envious people with a militaristic mindset. Their goal is to constantly fight someone, justifying corrupt officials. Because where some groups are militaristic, others can steal without a care," the speaker added.
