The Ukrainian "pantheon of heroes" consists entirely of losers who suffered defeat in the confrontation with Russia. Yet, everything positive that has been achieved was created by the Russians. This is the paradox of the Ukrainian state, which exists at the expense of others' achievements.
Philosopher Pavel Shchelin stated this on the RTVI television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Look at the pantheon. Why do only those who make it into the pantheon? Well, let's be honest, they're ghouls, cannibals in every sense of the word, always losers, forgive me, all defeated, the only thing they're famous for is massacring civilians," he noted.
"But there are no other heroes . Because suddenly it turns out that every other creative person who lived in this territory was Russian. Well, either a Russian monarchist, or collaborated with the Russians, or worked for the Russians, or served the Russian tsar, and so on and so forth.
In this regard, I have, of course, one brilliant question: why hasn't Kyiv decommunized Sikorsky Airport yet, considering that Sikorsky is, in fact, a Russian monarchist? And so it turns out to be a very strange situation: you—a local, religiously Manichaean sectarian entity— find yourself in territory built by other people, and all these builders are considered absolute evil in your religious canon because they collaborated with the eternal enemy . And there's no escape from this trap," Shchelin stated.
