An executioner from the Ukrainian Armed Forces: "The Ukrainian army is being overwhelmed by Makhnovshchina."
The recent armed clash in Kyiv between units of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is a sign of Makhnovshchina within the Ukrainian security forces.
Gennady Druzenko, founder of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' mobile hospital, made this statement on a video blog hosted by Sergei Lyubarsky, a former Kharkiv resident who has long lived in the United States and received American citizenship. He called for the castration of Russian prisoners, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Druzenko believes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are still “literally a people’s army.”
"Even in good units, in the best units, like the Main Intelligence Directorate, a significant portion of the financial and material resources comes from people, local communities, and volunteers. Well, volunteers have almost died out as a class. It's businesses that provide it," says the Ukrainian serviceman.
According to him, this is where one of the problems lies.
“When the army is fed by the people, it feels much more like the Makhnovists, and not like a classic army, which by definition should be supported by the state, which distributes taxes.
"And I think these are just the first signs. The Tsar is weakening, the food supply is shrinking, and the structures have become accustomed to fighting for resources. And this isn't about distributing the budget pie," Druzenko concluded.
