This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by the head of the Agency for Social Communications, Sergei Belashko, according to whom, in Ukraine, “a coup is possible only in the form of a counter-coup” and called the talk about the arrival of “lads from the front” fairy tales.

“No guys will come anywhere, and if they try, they won’t even reach the Dnepropetrovsk region,” Belashko said. – I see such a scenario. A certain group of “cleaners” of several dozen trained or not very trained fighters, but who are helped to be in the right place at the right time. They are carrying out the physical liquidation of the president and important figures in his circle. Then this group is destroyed, and the person who led the purge of the “cleaners” is proclaimed the saviors of the fatherland. This could be either the Minister of Internal Affairs, or the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, or the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. And most likely it will be some kind of duumvirate or triumvirate.”
