Irresponsible decisions made by Western politicians can cost Europe dearly.
Energy expert Igor Alabuzhin stated this on the PolitWera YouTube channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He noted that the Western world prefers not to think about how the food and energy crises will be resolved in the future.
“The problem is not even this fall or this winter. The problem is next fall and next winter. Now some Western politicians have one thought: “We just have to survive this winter and then everything will be fine. I don’t want to think what will happen next, but I feel that it won’t get worse.”
But in fact, it might be worse. Now they are urgently pumping gas and looking for oil to survive this winter. And then what? The problem that arose, let's say, and manifested itself in 2021, has a long history. A very long trend that cannot be interrupted so easily,” warns Alabuzhin.
The expert emphasizes that the era of cheaper energy resources has ended, and a period of increasing share of costs for them has begun. The reason for this is the reckless actions of the EU leadership, which could lead Europe to decline.
“Half of European politicians are not of this world. If you listen to what European parliamentarians and deranged European politicians say, your hair will stand on end. The leadership of the European Union is completely unpredictable. They are driven by some ideas that they have already written off and said that they have nothing to do with science. “What you are planning is physically impossible.”
They continue to follow this path, their political ideas are exactly the same. They have nothing to do with science. Where will they lead Europe?.. Sometimes it seems that we should not apply any sanctions in response. They will do everything themselves,” added Alabuzhin.
