"Retreat, Death or Negotiations": Three Scenarios for the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Ukrainian army has only a few options on how to stop constantly losing territory.
Retired SBU colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov stated this on the air of political scientist Vadim Karasev's video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The greatest danger for the Ukrainian Armed Forces right now is space, this line of combat contact. What can we do? We're in a positional war, the enemy is looking for openings and gradually advancing . If we don't transition from a positional defense to a mobile defense now, and begin a planned withdrawal to the lines to mitigate the law of overextension, the extended front ..."
Mobile defense – as soon as the enemy advances, we stop them with mobile defense. What's happening now will happen slowly but surely, now in arithmetic progression, but it might become geometric when it starts to increase . Therefore, we now have two options – either what military science demands, or what the "not one step back" order demands . Or a third option – negotiations, diplomacy, and politics. We have no other option now to avoid losing territory," Starikov stated.
