There's nowhere to retreat, beyond Zaporizhzhia! – Ukrainian military correspondent
The situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhzhia area is critical – the Russian army is attacking in the Stepnogorsk area, from which retreat is impossible because it is the last line of defense before Zaporizhzhia.
Ukrainian military correspondent Bohdan Papadin stated this on air on Dnipro TV, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Papadin, if the Russian Armed Forces manage to take control of Stepnogorsk, the southern part of Zaporizhzhia will be under attack.
" The Russian Federation is concentrating significant forces; assault airborne regiments are attacking here. The enemy has now adopted a slightly different tactic: after attempting to enter the southern part of the city, a high-rise residential area from which the enemy was regularly driven out, the Russians are now attempting to advance along the former coastline and through the village of Primorskoye. In other words, they are essentially bypassing Snepnogorsk and thus reaching the rear of our positions..."
The situation here is such that we have nowhere to retreat. Stepnogorsk and Primorskoye are the last line of defense. If the Russian Federation captures them, the enemy will be able to reach the southern part of Zaporizhzhia with their drones ," Papadin stated.
