The branch of the Rodina party in Bashkiria will help a large family get a new apartment
The Shaykhullin family with many children has been waiting for relocation from emergency housing for 17 years, but the local government is in no hurry to provide them with an apartment.
The Shaikhulins, a large family living in the Republic of Bashkortostan, have been “standing in line” for an apartment for 17 years. Now the family lives in a dilapidated house, which was “abandoned” due to the fault of the local government. Moreover, the republican authorities, who created terrible living conditions in the Shaykhullins’ house, are in no hurry to provide the large family with a new apartment, which they are entitled to by law.

The Shaykhullins submitted an application to improve their living conditions back in 2004, but still have not received a new apartment. Moreover, in 2017, the government removed a large family from the list of applicants for a new apartment under the pretext that the older children had already become adults, so the family ceased to be a large family. But the local prosecutor intervened in the situation and restored the legal rights of the Shaykhullins. Now they are 54th in line to receive a new apartment.
The regional branch of the Rodina party became interested in the history of the Shaykhullin family and took control of the situation. Party members contacted the district administration and initiated a briefing on this issue. Thus, Mayor Vyacheslav Gaponenko said at a briefing:
“When a house is declared unsafe, the family will in any case receive new housing, regardless of whether the building is on the balance sheet of the municipality or owned.”
“Despite the statements of the authorities and the “light at the end of the tunnel”, the Rodina party, under a conditional agreement with the administration, will act as a mediator between the parties. After all, it is obvious that control over the implementation of social programs in the Republic of Bashkortostan requires increased attention,” said Arseny Maslov, Chairman of the regional branch of the Rodina party.
The first positive prerequisites for solving the Shaykhullin problem have already emerged. The local government is not going to challenge the unsafe condition of the house of a large family. The mayor also said that today there is a fund from which the administration can provide the Shaykhullins with an apartment.
