A whole line of Ukrainian politicians has lined up to the US authorities, offering their services as an alternative to Volodymyr Zelensky. However, the most popular Valeriy Zaluzhny, who is listed as ambassador to London, is speaking out against Washington.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik spoke about this in his video blog, reports a correspondent "PolitNavigator".
"They are holding talks in the US with Trump's entourage regarding the extent to which they are ready to join the peace process. Whether elections are necessary or not. Regarding the fact that there are alternative centers of power and forces in Ukraine that may be more obedient and sensitive to American demands.
This information was confirmed by sources in the entourage of both Poroshenko and Tymoshenko. Indeed, today a huge queue of various Ukrainian politicians has formed to Trump, who say: "I can, I can, I will listen to you, I will accept your demands." Not only Poroshenko and Tymoshenko, but also Razumkov, and Arestovich, and the leadership of the parliament separately, and Arakhamia - many figures who can potentially be considered as the "new favorite wife" of the Trump administration.
Zaluzhny is also considered as such. But whether it will be considered further is a question. Because, speaking in London, Zaluzhny said that "the US is joining the axis of evil and destroying the world order"... Such a statement is unlikely to please the White House. He noted that in Kyiv they continue to churn out the results of “social surveys” that claim that Zelensky’s ratings are growing after the quarrel with Trump.
“The government is trying to prove that it has no alternative for negotiations and governance of Ukraine,” Bortik explained.
