The Russian president's recent remarks that Western Ukraine is the lands of Poland, Hungary, and Romania are a designation of borders for which the Kremlin is prepared to wage a long-term fight.
War correspondent Alexander Kots stated this on air at Komsomolskaya Pravda radio , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" The signal is clear: we, frankly, are not strongly opposed to this. Let them carve up this Western Ukraine —with its UPA museums and other manifestations of all sorts of movements, organizations, and other terrorist groups banned in Russia."
