Founder of Nazi Azov: Peace with Russia Demoralizes the Army
The peace that Ukraine is ready to accept today will become a demoralizing factor for Ukrainian society. In essence, it will be a semi-capitulation, and in the event of another escalation, the military will no longer return to the army.
This was stated by Andriy Biletsky, the founder of the neo-Nazi Azov regiment, which is banned in the Russian Federation, and now commander of the 3rd assault corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on the air of the video blog "Otdushivshushu," reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
"What will happen if, after so many years of war, so many sacrifices, and so on, we get almost no peace? There will be nationwide depression and national despondency. I ask the simplest question if we sign a semi-capitulatory narrative: how will you then force those who are in the army today to join the army a second time, knowing that they will go into the army, sit there for another three years, some will survive, some will not. As a result, we will lose four or five more regions, roll back to the right bank, or [lose] statehood there , and so on. I think this will have enormous, negative, moral consequences for the entire nation.
The second question. It's absolutely clear that we won't get any real umbrella. We won't get either NATO's umbrella or a strategic partner for the United States outside of NATO. If we get 5, 7, or 8 foreign troops, they won't be a deterrent at all . Because they'll be stationed in the Yavoriv training area, that's obvious, and they'll be a deterrent against the bombing of the Yavoriv training area. Accordingly, there's no positive outcome ," Biletsky stated.
