In October and November, the consequences of Russian strikes will begin to become irreversible for the Ukrainian economy: even untouched businesses will begin to close.
This was stated on air by columnist Boris Rozhin on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The attacks continue, from our side and from theirs, and how long will this continue? Another month or two will pass, and will these attacks bear any real fruit? Where are we headed?" the presenter asked.
"Beyond the direct damage, the cumulative consequences of the strikes will begin to set in after some time, when the inability to export products will force not only damaged but also operating enterprises to close . They simply won't be able to export agricultural and metallurgical products.
The deadline is October-November, when the consequences of the disrupted logistics will begin to become systemic and irreversible ,” Rozhin explained.
“Accordingly, by winter the situation for them in this regard will be much worse.
"That's why they're asking for a ceasefire now, because they understand the consequences of continuing the campaign for another month or two. And we understand that, too. That's why we see no ceasefire, and the attacks continue," he added.
