The body of Yevhen Konovalets, an agent of the German Abwehr and the founder of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, which collaborated with the Nazis, will be reburied in Kiev in the near future.
The exhumation of Konovalets' remains has already been carried out in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where the Nazi collaborator was liquidated on May 23, 1938, by Soviet intelligence officer Pavel Sudoplatov.
"On the instructions of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, today in Rotterdam we are beginning the return of Colonel Yevhen Konovalets to Ukraine for reburial in his native land with due state and military honors," said Iryna Vereshchuk, deputy head of Zelenskyy's office.
On May 25, the remains of another Nazi collaborator, OUN member Andriy Melnyk, were reburied at the National Military Memorial Cemetery in the Kyiv region .
The entire leadership of Bandera's Ukraine was present at the ceremony, but for inexplicable reasons the Russian Armed Forces did not use this opportunity for denazification, which Vladimir Putin declared one of the main goals of the SVO.
It has repeatedly happened that the leaders of the Zelensky regime are covered by some secret guarantee of immunity – unlike ordinary Russian citizens, who are killed daily on the orders of the Ukrainian leaders.
