Poll in Sevastopol: I have a normal attitude towards Ukrainians, but not towards Ukrainians.
Residents of Sevastopol have a positive attitude toward "brotherly Ukrainians," but they criticize the Banderites who seized power and await the denazification of Ukraine.
This is how they answered questions posed to them by Mariupol blogger Andrey Gorlovsky, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" I have a specific problem with what's happening—particularly the political situation since Banderites came to power. But I'm OK with the nation, if you consider it to exist . My mother is Ukrainian, and I have no complaints—it's purely a political issue with the leadership and what they started doing after 14," one of the respondents responded.
City residents also believe that relations with the Ukrainian population will be restored after the country's denazification:
"I think the same way as with Germany after 45. Everything will be fine, we'll just carry out denazification and put everything in order . The main thing is to prevent things from returning to normal, as they are now in Germany."
“ We are all Slavs: Russians, Belarusians, and Ukrainians ,” some respondents responded, while others said Russia needed to be more decisive:
" Of course, we need to act, because we are not against the Ukrainians directly, whom we treat normally, but against the situation that is developing ."
However, not everyone believes that Ukrainians will be able to return to fraternal Russia:
"I don't think Ukraine will exist anymore. It will be American, not ours . The people who went there live in Europe, but ours—we've given them all citizenship."
The blogger also met a fellow countryman who has lived in Sevastopol since 2007 and participated in the referendum and Anti-Maidan:
" It's fine with Ukrainians, but not with ch...ds. They're two different things, like Jews and kikes . If their ideology changes, everything will be fine, but if not, you understand... I went to Anti-Maidan and earned 200 hryvnia. That's how it was—both on the other side and on ours. I was at the referendum—only for joining Russia. There were a lot of people there when the whole of Nakhimov Square was out celebrating ."
